PROJECT 1 EXHIBITION [EDITTED]

Project 1 exhibition will be on Wednesday, 21/01/09.
Please prepare everything by 1130hrs.meaning all the cooking should be done by then.

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR "live" PRESENTATION!!!

We will be exhibiting everyone's products on the 21st January in our food labs, together with the Year 2 and 3 students' master pieces. Other non-Food Science Lecturers, administrative staff and senior management will be invited to sample your products. You will be assessed/ graded during this exhibition.

Details Start Time: 1130am - 400pm
Exhibition Room: Block N Rooms 609 and 611
Preparation Room: Block N Room 607

You will be allocated your work space and you are responsible to decorate your display area. You may have a display serving portion set IF you think it is necessary. Remember each class is an individual restaurant setting, so let your theme flow within the class during your display

What are you supposed to do? Prepare enough samples for 50-60 people. PLEASE make sure the 3 assessors have ENOUGH to grade your group. Sample size - bite size/ 3 mouthfuls Serve hot food hot, cold food cold. Observe food hygiene practices and food safety measures Work out your purchase requirements and submit your forms to me by Monday 19th Jan.

We have intentions to invite food companies to visit and taste the exhibits a few days after this event, so outstanding products will be exhibited again. So give your best & put on the coat of excellence so as to do justice to all your hard work for the semester.
